On safari in 1969 in East Africa with my husband and two sons, we stopped at villages to see what tribes people wore and had crafted for personal use or to sell.  In one market we decided to buy a mask, a wood bowl, a colorful embroidered cap (latter two shown elsewhere). This is that mask. Typical and nicely carved by a local tribe member.
